About The Job

This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. As a member of the Email Services team, this position will support Microsoft Exchange and Office 365, as well as perform all activities related to systems administration, such as software installations and system patching. Additionally, this role will configure, maintain, and use the supplied systems and software, and monitor continued system health.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Supports complex systems and applications in the Production environment, through all phases of deployment
  • Maintains and configures infrastructure tools to monitor and manage the Production environment
  • Accepts escalation of technical problems from other teams and works to resolve issues
  • Identifies and implements improvements to the process, procedures, documentation, and systems
  • Participates in 24x7 on-call pager rotation

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years previous experience supporting applications in a production environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the following:
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Active Directory
    • Exchange Admin Center
    • Exchange Online Protection
    • Windows PowerShell
    • Agile Methodology
    • DevOps Methodology
    • ITIL
  • Understanding of systems engineering and platform architecture
  • Experience with DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, customers, and external groups, as well as working in a collaborative environment with geographically dispersed resources
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time to meet commitments and expectations
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 5+ years previous experience supporting applications in a production environment
  • Airline experience and knowledge a plus
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience, including non-technical groups
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
