About The Job

This job is a member of the Marketing Onboard Products Team within the Marketing & Loyalty Division.  Single Sign-On Common Portal (SSOCP) is a project to simplify and enhance the customer experience using our three different connectivity providers on American Airlines.  It will create a “single sign on” using a customer’s AAdvantage number or email address, and it will create a “common portal” across the three providers' systems in addition to numerous other connectivity related enhancements and features.  As the voice of the customer, this role works towards the definition, development, implementation and maintenance of the SSOCP product.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Functions as a subject matter expert creating a world class Single Sign On Common Portal (SSOCP) customer experience
  • Takes ownership of the work and presents to executive leadership
  • Develops Marketing Onboard Products (OBP) requirements and collaborates on portal designs for SSOCP programs
  • Tracks, evaluates, and reports ongoing airline competitive SSOCP developments and technological industry trends
  • Analyzes internal and external survey results to gain customer insight and to define, shape, and implement AA's ongoing SSOCP strategy
  • Represents OBP in milestone program meetings and in cross-departmental teams, including Tech Ops, Flight Service, Partner Marketing and numerous other departments as well as with our suppliers
  • Participates in lab and on-aircraft SSOCP software and/or hardware product validation tests
  • Manages SSOCP and In-flight Connectivity supplier relationships to drive product improvements, innovation, and points of differentiation
  • Tracks ongoing SSOCP system performance and usage and drives efforts to correct performance issues quickly
  • Serves as an SSOCP problem resolution liaison with internal and external customer care groups
  • Creates and presents internal funding documents for new and retrofit SSOCP programs
  • Must be willing to travel for business as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with wifi systems, portal design, telecommunications, and/or systems integration
  • Familiarity with AA aircraft program management (Tech Ops, Fleet Planning, etc.)
