Job Description

The Analyst on the Citi / AAdvantage team is responsible for important marketing projects designed to drive new acquisitions and overall growth for the Citi / AAdvantage co-brand portfolio. This involves working with AA.com/Citi.com and external agencies.

  • Channel / Program owner for all Co-brand acquisitions work with AA.com
  • Manage all day to day relationships with our external agencies to execute changes/updates to campaigns
  • Project manage / execute the program from ideation to launch for different assets on digital channels by working closely with Citi and all other American Airlines partners
  • Work closely with Analytics / Strategy team to create A/B tests and other opportunities to improve placements on AA.com
  • Manage approvals / marketing reviews of all Citi.com/ external digital placements
  • Work with Citi, Marketing, AAdvantage and legal teams to make sure all deadlines are being met with respect to approvals and drop dates along with moving the process for execution of all the different products
  • Work with AA.com and creative services to make sure all assets are ready and all deadlines are met
  • Create and execute marketing collateral based on strategy that has been decided by the team to clearly explain the message and articulate the features of the credit card to Non-AAdvantage / AAdvantage customers
  • Review / approve and work with AA Legal to obtain the necessary approvals for different collaterals and execute the launch / drop based on the deadlines and timelines associated

Job Qualifications

  • BA / BS required
  • Experience in a marketing role for 1-2 years preferable
  • Experience in managing agency relationships for 1+ years is preferred
  • Excellent conceptual thinker
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
  • Exceptional organization, consensus building and creative problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with the ability to clearly convey thoughts and opinions in a variety of forums including discussions with external partners and interactions with peers
  • Ability to execute multiple projects concurrently and prioritize opportunities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Innovative problem solver who can take an idea from conception through execution
  • Must be self-starter who can recognize opportunities for innovation and creativity
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
  • Some skills with Photoshop, Adobe PDF creator preferable
