About The Job

This job is a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position is responsible for defining and creating test processes and automation to ensure delivery of quality software products and mentor team mates.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Develops, executes, and maintains automated test scripts
  • Automates test data creation
  • Documents test issues and works with development team to validate/recreate issue
  • Documents test cases for the user story requirements for traceability purpose
  • Updates test case execution status
  • Supports manual testing of test cases that are not currently automated.
  • Works in an agile environment
  • Works extended hours when needed, in order to support the production environment

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 1 year of software testing experience
  • ​ Experience in the following desired:
    • Sabre
    • Testing web services & XML
    • Understanding of databases
    • Automated testing
    • Software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
    • Ready API/SoapUI
    • TFS
    • Rally
    • Agile project management methodology
  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
  • Possess a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Qualifications (Continued)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of IT and software testing experience
  • Airline industry experience, including business processes and supporting technology desired
  • Ability to explain concepts and adjust messaging based on the audience
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently
