About The Job

The person selected for this position will administer drug and alcohol testing services for the company.  We will provide training that meets DOT federal standards, which also may require you to conduct same gender observed drug collections.  Hours may vary and may include evening, weekend, and holiday work.  Some travel may also be necessary. 


Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Collection of Drug Screen specimens
  • Breath Alcohol Testing, knowledge of saliva alcohol testing a plus 
  • Abide by company program as well as Federal regulations
  • Ability to address abnormalities or other collection issues
  • Knowledge of DOT 49 CFR Part 40 Drug & Alcohol regulations
  • Knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Part 121 Subpart E and F regulations
  • Customer Service
  • Data Entry
  • Filing/Scanning/Faxing
  • Previous experience a plus
  • Extensive walking will be involved
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum typing skill of 25 to 49 W.P.M.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
  • Must have acceptable credit for AA Credit Union positions
