Role Summary
 To ensure invoices/payments are processed accurately and timely
 To work with vendors, customers, and colleagues to resolve inquiries and issues
 To review and process employee expense reports
 To maintain compliance with accounting/auditing policies and procedures and local laws and regulations
 To perform account reconciliations, resolving open items and creating applicable journal entries
 Assist with the completion of bank reconciliations and investigation of unreconciled bank items
 Create applicable journal entries and month-end accruals where necessary
 To undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the post

About The Job

Key Responsibilities
 Download/provide on request local bank statements for department management
 Monitor daily banking activities in the region
 Prepare cash forecasts and ensure adequate funding to satisfy the local country needs
 Identify and investigate unreconciled bank items
 Create A/P entries for disbursement or refund
 Upload payment files and enter manual payments through the online banking facilities
 Liaise and assist the TRY department in HDQ
 Assist and/or complete misc. ad hoc projects as assigned

 University degree with a focus in Accounting or equivalent education/experience
 Experience in the related accounting field, familiar with SAP system preferred.
 Demonstrated excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
 Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software (e.g. Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint)
 Fluent in verbal and written English, including the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
 Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
 Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team to build relationship across the organization and workgroups
 Ability to deal with confidential subject matter
 Ability to work flexible hours when required
 Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA, or CIMA or AAT or equivalent
 Previous experience in the airline industry, with knowledge of tax laws and local reporting requirements
