• This Manager is a member of the Crew Planning Leadership Team within the Operations Planning, Analytics and Product Management Division.
• In this role, you will manage a team of analysts who are responsible for monthly execution, analytics, and future development of the company’s Crew Sequence Allocations software and processes This job also plays an important role in delivering an operationally effective and financially efficient crew plan to Flight, Flight Service, and the IOC.

What you'll do

•    Delivers a monthly crew allocations plan that balances operational supportability and financial efficiency
•    Provides quantitative and qualitative responses to proposed changes to allocation and crew workforce plans and practices
•    Works closely with other operations groups to maximize reliability and customer experience
•    Evaluates the performance of crew plans and identifies improvement opportunities
•    Evaluates proposals and provides recommendations for labor contracts and workforce strategy
•    Works with internal groups and vendors to enhance the role of technology in the Crew Planning cycle
•    Leads development and continuous improvement of internal practices, processes, and tools 

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    5 years of industry experience specific to the area of work
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics or other quantitative disciplines or additional equivalent experience/training
•    Must pass a background reference check and criminal fingerprint check

 

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    5 years of management experience
•    Experience in crew resource planning and optimization
•    In-depth knowledge of the regulatory rules affecting crew schedules, including a working knowledge of the APA and APFA collective bargaining agreements and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
•    Intermediate to Advanced skill level required in all Microsoft Office applications 
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office 
•    Demonstrated expertise in organizing and carrying out complex quantitative analysis
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet critical contractual deadlines
•    Ability to work under pressure, perform independently and work well with other members of the team
•    Demonstrated abstract reasoning and critical thinking skills, ability to effectively analyze detailed information, must enjoy solving complex puzzles
•    Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
