This role is responsible for delivering and overseeing operational and compliance‑driven training programs while providing subject‑matter expertise and support to regional station operations. The role ensures training effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and consistent execution of safety, operational, and company standards through collaboration, oversight, and hands‑on operational support.

What you'll do

•    Deliver American Airlines mandated initial, recurrent, and operational training programs in-person across the region and virtually
•    Supervise and evaluate trainees, including performance assessment, coaching, and progressive counseling when needed
•    Ensure proper certification and training compliance documentation for course completion
•    Analyze training needs and design, develop, and maintain accurate and current curricula and materials
•    Perform training administration, compliance reporting, audit support, and timely expense reporting
•    Partner with Regional Manager and station leadership to resolve operational issues and support consistent execution
•    Provide operational support to stations, including on‑the‑job training, mentoring, and serving as first point of contact
•    Monitor station compliance with safety requirements, policies, regulations, and key operational controls, including cargo handling where applicable
•    Support regional operations through station reviews, special projects, operational communications, and cross‑departmental assistance
•    Support cargo and non‑cargo stations with COMAT and AOG handling and assist other departments and the COC as needed

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    Completion of secondary school or equivalent education level
•    5 years of experience in cargo air transportation
•    Fluently read, write, and speak English and Spanish
•    Ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

•    Prior experience with Icargo software
•    Experience delivering operational, safety, or compliance training in an aviation or regulated environment
•    Experience developing and maintaining training curricula and instructional materials

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

•    Ability to evaluate performance and provide coaching, in-person and virtually, and on‑the‑job training
•    Working knowledge of airline and cargo operations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
•    Ability to interpret and apply company policies and operational procedures
•    Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills related to operational and compliance performance
•    Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and compliance tracking
•    Effective communication and relationship‑building skills with station leadership and partners
