  • ​This job is a member of the Financial Planning Systems and Business Intelligence team within the Finance Division.
  • ​Responsible for providing technical and analytical support along with data and subject matter expertise to other groups. This person will help with developing and maintaining financial models and data integration modules in Anaplan connected planning solution. The person will develop dynamic reports and dashboards within Anaplan. They will develop integrations between Anaplan and other BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.

What you'll do

• Design and develop Anaplan models as per requirements of the FP&A team
• Design and develop data hub model in Anaplan to support the data consumption and transformation needs of the spoke models in Anaplan
• Support and maintain the current long-range planning model along with the data hub in Anaplan
• Develop dynamic reports and dashboards in Anaplan
• Integrate BI tools like Tableau and Power BI with Anaplan to publish reports and dashboards using Anaplan model outputs
• Work extensively as a data consultant and subject matter expert for other groups, offering a thorough knowledge of data elements, business rules and analytical concepts
• Understand and map business processes and build technology-enabled solutions and automation to save time and enhance accuracy
• Synthesize complex technical information across large data sets and communicate clearly and persuasively with internal and external stakeholders
• Document procedures, data content, user guides and other materials as required

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Anaplan model builder 1 and 2 certified
• BS/BA or advanced degree with significant coursework in a quantitative discipline (engineering, finance, IT)
• Ability to perform both independently and as a team member, handle multiple assignments and respond efficiently to changing priorities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Prior work experience in finance, accounting, financial systems and or an IT/ analytical role
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate both verbally and written proficiently with all levels of management

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Experience implementing financial systems projects
• Certification: Anaplan Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner
• SQL and scripting skills using batch and shell scripting
• Prior experience working as a financial analyst or supporting the financial systems domain
• Knowledge of relational databases like Teradata and Oracle
• Experience using BI and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI/OAC/OBIEE) to explore and analyze data
• Knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management tools like Hyperion/Essbase/Planning and Apptio will be really an added advantage

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial issues
  • ​Ability to problem-solve, module and analyze data
  • Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
