  • The End User Compute Domain refers to the area within Information Technology that focuses on engineering, management, and support of the hardware and software utilized by our team members for their daily job functions and for being more productive. This domain encompasses all productivity tool capabilities as well as end-user devices. This includes all telephony functions (Unified Communications), Audio Visual (meeting room experience), Desktop & Printer engineering, surveillance systems, as well as Productivity and collaboration tools (Email, Teams, SharePoint, Onedrive, etc.).  

What you'll do

  • Design, configure, and maintain unified communications platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Cisco, or other UC tools).
  • Manage enterprise voice infrastructure including SIP, VoIP, PBX, and call routing solutions.
  • Administer messaging and collaboration technologies including voicemail, chat, and conferencing solutions
  • Monitor UC system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Collaborate with IT, network, and security teams to ensure integration and compliance.
  • Implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements to UC platforms.
  • Maintain documentation of UC systems, configurations, and processes.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for UC services.
  • Evaluate new UC technologies and make recommendations for adoption.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting large-scale solutions in production environments

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • Airline Industry experience 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Basic skills in network troubleshooting and configuration: Troubleshoot and configure network settings to support audio-visual systems, including familiarity with AVB (Audio Video Bridging), DANTE (Digital Audio Network Through Ethernet), and JPEG 2K video streaming technologies. Strong knowledge of video transport protocols and compression technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting, automation, development and developer tools (E.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python, Git/Github, VSCode, C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript,). 
  • Hands-on experience with UC platforms (Microsoft Teams, Cisco UC, Zoom, Avaya, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP trunking, QoS, and network protocols.
  • Familiarity with PBX systems, SBCs (Session Border Controllers), and contact center solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and related collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in UC environments.
  • Basic level Technical Support for Voice Systems, CUCM, Unity, MRA, and RedSky E911, Microsoft Teams Phone System.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
