This job is a member of the Barclays Co-Brand Team within the Marketing & Loyalty Division. Responsible for important marketing projects designed to drive new acquisitions and overall growth for the Barclays Co-Brand portfolio through airport and Flight Attendant Marketing. This involves working with internal departments at American, Barclays, as well as with external partners.

What you'll do
  • Support the growth and profitability of American Airlines portfolio of Barclays / AAdvantage Co-brand credit cards products
  • Manages day-to-day relationships with Barclays, vendors and internal partners to ensure aligned strategy around all marketing assets launch into market
  • Manages and executes marketing campaigns from creative conception to launch for different assets on direct channels by working closely with bank and all other American Airlines stakeholders
  • Partner with bank and/or network to execute customer and employee engagement events throughout the year
  • Manages approvals and marketing reviews of all marketing material
  • With internal and external partners, identifies, builds support for, and executes innovative solutions to increase acquisition rates and/or employee engagement in co-brand program
  • Manage vendor relationships, including project management, prioritization and timelines
  • Tracks and analyzes participation and initiative performance data against key success metrics and prepares performance reports
  • Some travel required, up to 20%
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience/training

 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 1 year experience in a marketing role
  • 1 year experience in managing agency relationships

 

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Skills in organization, consensus building and creative problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Ability to execute multiple projects concurrently and prioritize opportunities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to be an innovative problem solver who can take an idea from conception through execution
  • Ability to be a self-starter who can recognize opportunities for innovation and creativity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey thoughts and opinions in a variety of forums including discussions with external partners and interactions with peers or leaders
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
