About The Job

This job is a member of the Digital Analytics Optimization Team within the Marketing and Sales Division. Manages and delivers on the A/B testing and optimization program for AA’s digital properties.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Builds a culture of testing by running successful tests, building partnerships with key stakeholders, and spreading interest in a test and learn culture
  • Maintain the testing and optimization plan by collecting ideas, prioritizing tests based on the potential impact it will have, and communicating the list to all key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for analysis and testing on the site that increase conversion or drive revenue; use data to communicate recommendations to improve performance to stakeholders; promote the adoption of a test-and-learn culture
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop viable solutions
  • Design and execute A/B, multivariate and other online tests to improve user experience
  • Perform analyses on A/B and multivariate tests (including statistical significance), compile results and present them to stakeholders
  • Ensure testing and targeting plans and processes are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet stakeholder expectations
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and data validation, identify data collection issues and gaps, recommend and implement fixes
  • Work with vendors and internal analytics implementation team to develop reporting strategies and ensure data is being collected properly and accurately
  • Collaborate with developers to set up testing campaigns
  • Defines best practice approaches for a successful optimization program

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years of experience in Digital, Marketing, or other analytical business field

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree
  • Web and travel/airline experience
  • Experience with marketing technology tools including Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
  • Experience with usability, conversion analysis, and multivariate testing
  • Experience obtaining, analyzing, and presenting project results in a detail oriented manner
  • Experience managing analytic and/or development projects
  • Experience in test design coupled with the ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful business insights
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities/projects on strict deadlines with minimal supervision/direction
  • Strong analytic and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to translate business goals to actionable, testable scenarios
  • Core technical skills, including experience with SQL or SAS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences
  • The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and convey technical information in a clear and engaging way
  • A keen eye for detail in your work
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
