The Learning Administration Specialist provides program and system administrative support to ensure world-class learning experiences for our team members. This role is responsible for help-desk support and the day-to-day administration of our enterprise learning applications as well as ongoing monitoring of key programs. This role is a member of the Learning Solutions team in Global Learning.
 

What you'll do

  • Coordinate learning activities for corporate business teams
  • Provide support in monitoring program scheduling and registrations
  • Build classes in the learning management system (LMS), and maintain the class lifecycle from enrolling participants to closing out classes
  • Create class notifications, prepare and communicate pre-work assignments and monitor completions
  • Monitor support mailboxes, resolving issues for team members and business partners.
  • Maintain standards for using and administering our learning platforms across multiple training teams
  • Provide training and support to users, supervisors, administrators, and others who interact with our learning systems
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • 2 years of experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • 2 years of experience working in an administrative, technical support or customer service role

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (SumTotal preferred)
  • Experience in a commercial airline company with fundamental understanding of operations

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Comfortable with technology and ability to ramp up quickly on new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
