  • ​This job is a member of the Technical Operations Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
  • Responsible for designing and developing new applications for leveraging SharePoint and K2.   This job also enhances currently supported applications using industry best practices and standards for UI development.   This job will work closely with a requirements analyst and customers in TEQ to develop state of the art digital products. Will assist TEQ users migrate from a SharePoint on-premises solution to a cloud based solution.
What you'll do
  • Works with TEQ Stakeholders to understand customer processes in order to document, design and develop applications using K2 and SharePoint
  • Creates user friendly solutions on SharePoint
  • Tracks and manages analytics for both the K2 and SharePoint platforms
  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships with our TEQ customers
  • Develops forms, applications, and workflows for SharePoint sites within TEQ
  • Creates and delivers Training for TEQ employees in the areas of SharePoint and K2
  • Manages SharePoint administration for TEQ
  • Facilitates User Groups for SharePoint and other TEQ applications
  • Maintains the TEQ SharePoint Homepage
  • Facilitates Communications for the TEQ Homepage
  • Completes other assignments and projects as directed by Manager
  • Leads or participates in demonstrations to present solution capabilities to stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Technology Managment
  • Demonstrated experience developing robust technology solutions
  • 3 years related job experience
  • Experience in creating responsive web designs  (css media queries)


Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​3+ years software development with 2 of those being SharePoint 2010/2013, SharePoint Designer
  • Knowledge of airline business processes in Engineering, Records, Maintenance Programs, Configuration Management, Technical Publications, Quality Control and Assurance, Line Maintenance and Maintenance Training
  • Relevant technical certification (Microsoft, .NET, Sharepoint, K2, other) subset of HTML, Python, javascript, CSS, SQL, webservices REST, lotus script, SGML/XML, DTDs, XSLT, XSL-FO, Omnimark
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, SharePoint designer and Bootstrap
  • Experience in creating responsive web designs
  • Aviation maintenance experience/knowledge

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, LSS, TFS tools and methodologies
  • Technology platforms experties (i.e. SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 on-premise/cloud/hybrid, Lotus Notes, K2, web applications, pubs technologies)
  • Ability to access the data using REST, oData and LOB Database for SPA in SharePoint 2010/2013
  • Ability to create Service brokers, Smart forms and objects using K2
  • Extensive knowledge about content management platforms
  • Ability to develop products using SharePoint Visual Studio, Bootstrap, Angular, JavaScript and HTML
  • Must possess the ability to properly prioritize workload, delegate tasks, and work in a stressful environment
