  • This job allows you to work with various departments within the Tech Ops organization to facilitate the release of Engineering Orders (EO).  Not only are you there to support the other Departments and Engineering in particular, but you also help everyone work through roadblocks to achieve success.  If you like planning, coordination or working as a team to accomplish important tasks this may be the job for you.

What you'll do

  • Processes Engineering Orders (EOs) through the product release cycle to ensure successful and timely accomplishment.
  • Holds a crucial role collaborating within Technical Operations, to affect the success per the project goals.
  • Helps the team establish project plans that consist of project goals, scope, timeline, milestones, tasks, communication strategies, and deliverable schedules.
  • Monitors, tracks and facilitates all fleets projects to ensure production readiness quality and timeliness.
  • Interface with multiple systems to manage daily deliverables and task execution (document release).
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for any questions or issues in the project process.
  • Acts independently as a project leader, driving project progress, leading teamwork, and supporting the project team members to succeed in their roles and responsibilities.
  • Collaborates in a diversified and cross-functional team environment (Compliance, Finance, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain, etc.).

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Planning, Project Management or equivalent work experience/training
  • 3+ year experience in a Project Manager, or management roles in aviation maintenance, engineering, and planning capacity
  • Aviation experience


Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Project Management certification
  • Previous supervisory experience and knowledge of AA budgeting, policies, and procedures
  • Lien Six Sigma training or understanding of principles


Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Proven self-starter, with a positive attitude and a high learning capacity
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
  • Ability to develop project plan, quality control goals as well as lessons learning opportunities
  • Problem resolution ability with a high degree of motivation, thoroughness, integrity, and reliability
