About The Job

This job is a member of the Pilot Recruiting & Development team within Flight, inside the Integrated Operations Division and responsible for assisting the pilot applicants, Cadet Academy applicants, as well as internal team with administrative matters.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Provide support for the management staff with the use of strong administrative skills such as answering phones, greeting applicants and walk-in inquiries, making various  SABRE entries in DECS and RES, engaging in-person with pilot and Cadet Academy applicants on interview days, administer computer based interview testing, assist with mailing and shipping of department materials, order supplies, manage inventories and files, participate in various special projects, and represent the Pilot Recruiting team with a high level of customer service.


Required Qualifications

  • ​High School diploma or GED equivalency
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Knowledge of MS Publisher (not required)
  • Strong Knowledge of SABRE (DECS and RES)
  • Strong customer service skills both telephone and face to face
  • Ability to take ownership; prioritize tasks, work well with minimal supervision and manage numerous projectsand tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to type 25 to 49 wpm
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to DFW airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
