  • The Manager, Revenue Control is responsible for managing the Revenue Accounting & Control department within Revenue Accounting; functions include account reconciliations, month-end, quarterly and annual reporting, management reporting, internal control reviews, and financial analysis.

  • This job is part of the Revenue Accounting Team within our Finance Division.

What you'll do

  • Oversee the accounting programs, processes, policies, system functionality and day-to-day management of the Revenue Accounting and Control department

  • Oversee the compilations of financial data to ensure the proper accounting treatment of revenue and revenue-related transactions in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements

  • Develop and implement appropriate procedures to support processing a large volume of transactions in a complete, accurate, and timely manner and in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

  • Participate in agile ceremonies for IT projects that impact the department

  • Negotiate and monitor contracts with third-party service providers

  • Maintain consistent communication with upper management and implement any federal or state regulations

  • Investigate and recommend new process methodologies

  • Plan, staff, develop, motivate, supervise and review work of assigned team

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 5 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • 5 years of accounting experience
  • 3 years of supervisiory/management experience
  • CPA or currently pursuing
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (i.e., GAAP)

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively re-align priorities as needed
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities
