What you'll do

As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced.  Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.

  • Leads holistic customer communications and planning for the company (Clean Commitment program, corporate policy changes, travel experience, AAdvantage program and more) across owned channels that this team manages (AA.com, e-mail, and American Way)
  • Coordinates with owners of all other owned channels (social media, B2B, airport and onboard channels, etc)
  • Plans and executes all revenue-generating e-mail campaigns for flight bookings, product upsells and AAdvantage/cobrand promotions
  • Maintains and updates all content on AA.com, our largest booking channel
  • Manages our in-flight magazines and the newly launched AmericanWay.com
  • Manages a direct team and coordinates on a daily basis with cross-functional teams

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 7 years of related experience
  • Leadership experience
