This job is a member of the Payroll Tax Team within the Finance Division responsible for Payroll Tax reporting.
What you'll do
- Provide leadership, motivation, and development for employees.
- Lead and supervise payroll tax staff to ensure accurate and timely payroll tax withholding, reporting and processing.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze business processes, making changes as necessary to increase efficiencies, while maintaining compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) processing requirements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of payroll tax laws and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation of payroll procedures and workflows.
- Provide communication to all levels of management as required
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- 5 years of Payroll Tax or Accounting
- Experience with a large payroll system (e.g. SAP)
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience/training
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a business environment

- Ability to demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize projects with conflicting deadlines
- Ability to be flexible and capable of adapting to constant change
- Must work well under tight deadlines and high stress situations

- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and well-organized
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to demonstrate an absolute commitment to customer service
